Itinerary
Day 1: Athens - Arrival Arrival at the Athens airport. Welcome by our representative, assistance with custom formalities and transfer to your Athens hotel. Day at leisure to explore the city
Day 2: Athens - Delphi In the morning, after breakfast, start our guided tour to the ancient Oracle of Delphi. Visit the museum and the archaeological site. Late afternoon arrival in Athens. Overnight in Athens
Day 3: Athens - Sightseeing tour - Sounion After breakfast we start on the Athens sightseeing tour including visits to the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Erechtheum and the Acropolis Museum. Early afternoon tour to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon. Clear skies offer the most memorable sunset in Attica. Overnight in Athens
Day 4: Athens - Argolis Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, (short stop). Drive to Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atrides, the city rich in gold of the ancient poets. Visit the Lionesses Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and the Royal Tombs. Depart for Nauplion and Epidaurus through the fertile plain of Argolis to visit the theatre famous for its astonishing acoustics. Late afternoon return to Athens
Day 5: Athens - Departure After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home, or to one of the Greek islands if you choose to extend your stay in Greece and visit one of the beautiful Aegean islands
